TechEase empowers older adults to use technology with confidence and stay safe online. We provide patient, hands-on support, clear education, and practical tools that strengthen digital independence, protect privacy, and keep seniors connected to what—and who—matters most.

My grandparents live in India, so I don't get to see them often. For years, I've watched them struggle to stay in touch with the rest of their family and me. With technology advancing faster than they could keep up, they were getting left behind. One summer during a visit to India, I offered solution by helping them set up their video call platforms on their phone. This way, they could stay in touch with me, even if I was 9,000 miles away. This made me wonder how many people are out there with the same problem: living in senior homes disconnected from their family. I went on a mission to change this. Starting by helping seniors with calls and messages, this project has grown into much more, not only getting seniors online but also keeping them safe.

I kept hearing the same questions: “How do I use FaceTime?”, “What does this app do?”, “How do I clean my email?”, “Can I recover deleted photos?”, “How do I set up this printer?” We realized seniors wanted not just quick fixes, but trustworthy guidance and one-on-one mentorship to stay connected and safe online. After many conversations, one resident, Renee, encouraged us to turn those informal help sessions into a real project. We took her advice to heart, and TechEase grew from one community to many, offering friendly support and digital safety tips for older adults. Thank you, Renee, for believing in TechEase.
